The European Commission and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development/International Network on Financial Education (OECD/INFE) will hold a hybrid event in Brussels dedicated to the publication of the joint EU-OECD/INFE financial competence framework for children and youth on 2nd October.
The objective of the framework is to establish a shared understanding of the essential financial literacy skills for children and teenagers at different stages of their lives to enable them take well-informed personal finance decisions immediately and later in life. The framework can support the development of financial literacy policies, programmes and teaching material by public, private and not-for-profit stakeholders.
